With over 480 ACOs participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) in 2024, it is by far the largest ACO payment model offered by CMS. These ACOs consist of over 600,000 providers caring for over 10.8 million traditional Medicare beneficiaries. Statistics have shown that not only is this program growing substantially, but these organizations also consistently outperform non-ACO physicians in quality performance and year-over-year savings to Medicare. Additionally, Medicare has set the goal of having every traditional Medicare beneficiary in a value-based care relationship by 2030, making ACOs even more important to the future of health care.

Many of the administrative services we offer to our partners have shown to be crucial components to the success of ACOs participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program. Beneficiary mailings, dedicated customer service, and accurate provider payments are all necessary tools for ACOs looking to achieve their goals. We also offer ACOs claims analytics and care management platforms to better understand their population’s health equity in order to address areas of improvement. And as always, our services come with the flexibility and customization needed to provide our ACO partners with dedicated solutions to match their specific needs.

SCAS Management Group (SMG) provides services to a 10,000+ beneficiary MSSP ACO that includes providers in California, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and New York. In addition to the services listed above, we also offer MSSP ACOs consulting, analytics and care management platforms, customized reporting, weekly collaborative meetings, and policy and procedure development.
